All people dream, but at the same time a lot of people think that dream doesn’t be important and that it is a lost of time. Randy Pausch, a teacher who has a terminal cancer, propose that is important really achieving your childhood dreams.

Firstly, he exposes that each one should conserve the inspiration and let himself dream. When you are a child, you dream all the time. You get emotion and enthusiasm to do what ever you want. And you begin to create the fundaments for that the fantasy gets really.

You have to work hard and learn of the experience, in order to make really your childhood dreams. Each thing that you are doing must have effort and dedication; but, in addition, energy and passion. However, is important have in mind that you are a human being and for this reason you can make astray. So, the critics of the others help you to grow up and are a show of love and care. In words of Randy, “Experience is what you get when you have not got what you wanted”.

To conclude, the things that you do when you are a child are very important, because this can define your preferences, expectatives, you career, job, family, friends, into others. But the most important point is that you have to think in that for be happy and really achieving your childhood dreams, you have to think and share with others.

Women at the Wheel

Write an argumentative essay about the road rage cause by women.

A lot of people think that women are dangerous when they are driving. Road rage in Colombia is a very big problem; many people get killed by the angry women drivers. Maybe this is an exaggeration, but women have difficulties when are at the wheel.

They won’t have a good reaction in case of an emergency. At puberty, the male hormone (testosterone) improves visio-spatial abilities to the males, which are very important for driving; the female capacity for concentration and application varies with their menstrual cycle, according to a study conducted by doctors Anne Moir and David Jessel. So, women don’t have good reflexes and concentration.

Moreover, they are so focused in many things they will forget about driving. While men can only concentrate on one focus with great intensity, women can control several focus of attention but with less concentration on them according to doctor Mass article published at the web page www.universia.com.ar. Women are driving while using makeup, speaking by cell ... All at the same time.

To conclude, although women are good doing a lot of things, doing many things at the same time can be unsafesty. So women, you have to put more attention while you are driving a car.

CLASS ASSIGNMENTS

THE PEACE WALK

In this exercise I’m going to write a summary about the 4th of February peace mobilization that took place in Colombia and other locations around the world. The mobilization was against the kidnapping in Colombia.

Last fourth of February in Colombia a walk took place to protest against kidnapping and to demand that the guerrillas free the people they have kidnapped; people went out dressing white shirts and waving the Colombian flag, they screamed "No more kidnapping", "No more lies", "No more war", "No more FARC". It was a great event, and everybody agreed that it was good to protest against FARC. The only bad thing is that no matter how many people protest against war, it will always continue, because the ones who have the power to end this terrible war, don’t listen to the people. That is a bad thing. At least, Colombian people are starting to be less indifferent and are acting to manifest against kidnapping and war.

DESCRIBERS

In this exercise, some blank spaces will be fulfilled in order to give coherence to the story.

That was a wonderful day. Down by the quiet stream a yellow bird sat looking a flower. The brilliant sun calls my attention in the celestial sky. “Oh, how amazing is to have such a rest day all to myself”. I thought.
Then a marvelous bird began to whistle. From the shape of its weird wings and it’s short legs I knew it brought terrible news. It carried a parchment over it’s wing. “Who knows what kind of problems it had inside” I thought.
The yellow bird soon stopped to looking the flower, and flew away from there. I should have done the same. The marvelous bird flew in circles and landed near me. Even thought it was a strange bird, it was enough pretty to have a friend, I took the parchment off his wing and there was a letter writed on it. It’s said, “The adjectives make for the writing you had better written them all”. That meant, I knew, I had to do a lot of work.
